Bihar Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Scheme (MVPY)
The Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana were launched by the Bihar government this scheme is an old-age pension scheme which implemented by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Bihar to provide financial assistance to Bihar elderly citizens. Under the Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension scheme, a monthly pension will be give to the individual person who are aged minimum of 60 years or above.
Benefits
- Person aged between 60-79 years will be beneficiary of monthly pension of ₹400/-
- Old people aged of 80 years and above will be beneficiary ₹500/- monthly pension
The pension amount under this scheme will be transfer directly to the beneficiary bank account using the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) method.
Eligibility
- Person should be a permanent resident of Bihar.
- The age of the person (his/her) should be at 60 years or above.
- The person should not be a retired government employee, in order to avail of the benefits of the scheme.
- Applicant relate to the government service will not be applicable for this scheme.
Application Process (Online)
- The applicant have to visit the state official Portal at https://www.sspmis.bihar.gov.in/HomePage
- Click on ‘Register for MVPY’ on the Home page.
- Now you have to Fill all the mandatory details and click on ‘Validate Aadhaar’. After validation of Aadhaar.
- Now click on ‘Proceed’ to fill out the MVPY registration form.
- Fill the details on the MVPY registration form like personal details, bank account details, address details, etc.
- Now you have to submit the form the registration process will be completed.
Documents Required
- EPIC Card
- Aadhaar Card
- Bank Account details with consent to use for DBT are mandatory
- Proof of Age
- Passport size photograph
- Proof of residence
- Any other documents as required
